Trestle Community Management today announced that Kristen Ledbetter, Advisory Community Manager and Midrise, High-rise and Estate Practice Lead, and Vanessa Tilberg, Operations Director, have received the prestigious Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation as awarded by the Community Associations Institute (CAI). Trestle now has the most PCAM designated Community Managers on staff than any firm in Washington state.

“Association Board Members and community developers seek certified and qualified professionals to manage their communities,” said Bob Brencic, President of Trestle Community Management. “To help ensure they have the expert guidance necessary to manage communities most effectively, Trestle Community Management continually invests in improving the skills and abilities of our Team Members by encouraging them to obtain the highest CAI certifications possible.”

The PCAM designation is the highest professional designation within the industry.  PCAM designees must first obtain their Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA) and Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation, and meet experience, continuing education and industry-participation requirements in order to apply to participate in the PCAM Case Study. The Case Study includes a comprehensive review of an existing community association, including a community tour and interviews with community representatives. Afterward, participants are allotted 30 days to prepare a thorough written Case Study Exam about the community for evaluation. The exam draws on the skills and expertise gained during the participants’ time as a Manager.
