Trestle Community Management today announced that Chellore Knudtson, Community Association Manager, has received her Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation as awarded by the Community Associations Institute (CAI). Trestle prioritizes continuing education for all Team Members in order to ensure they maintain up to date knowledge of the industry and in turn, provide the best possible advisory service to Trestle Clients.
The AMS designation recognizes ongoing professional development and industry expertise for Community Association Managers. AMS designees must first pass the difficult Certified Manager of Community Associations exam, administered by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM) to obtain their Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA) designation. Additionally, they must have at least two years of verified association management experience, have successfully completed more than 16 hours of advanced specialized instruction, and comply with CAI’s Professional Manager Code of Ethics. To maintain the AMS designation, they must meet continuing education requirements to remain current in industry-related matters.
