Trestle Community Management today announced that Bob Brencic, CMCA, AMS, MBA, President of Trestle, Kristen Ledbetter, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, Advisory Community Manager overseeing Trestle’s Mid-Rise, High-Rise and Estate Practice and Ila Kane, CMCA, AMS, Community Association Manager with Trestle’s Home Developer Practice, were selected to present at Community Association Institute’s Washington State Chapter’s (WSCAI) Community Associations’ Day (CA Day). An important informational event, CA Day is “Washington’s largest educational conference and trade show for condominium and homeowner associations and community managers,” according to WSCAI.
Highlighting technology’s effect on community associations, Bob will present, “Technology in Community Associations - Are Your Home Market Values Being Impacted by Today's Technology Trends.” With a keen eye for innovation and technological solutions, Bob is prepared to discuss the ways in which technology affects communities and enterprising solutions to drive community success.
Together with Jackie Davis of BlueSky Restoration Contractors and Ann Hart of Hub International Northwest, LLC., Kristen will present, “Natural Disasters - Paving the Road to Disaster Preparedness with More Than Good Intentions.” With more than 16 years’ experience in the community association management industry and supporting the Mid-Rise, High-Rise and Estate Practice, Kristen has helped countless associations avoid disaster and navigate emergencies. The panel discussion will be aimed at promoting proactive disaster preparedness and will provide insights for community association managers and Boards alike.
Ila will join Dean Martin of Barker Martin, P.S. in presenting, “WUCIOA Updates - Lessons in Living in A WUCIOA Community.” As a Community Association Manager on Trestle’s Home Developers Practice, Ila has worked with newly developed communities for several years. Through this experience, she is well-versed in assisting Client Associations which are subject to the Washington Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act (WUCIOA). The presentation will assist Board Members in navigating WUCIOA, which went into effect in July 2018.
