Trestle Community Management announced today that Melissa Musser, Trestle's Suburban Growth Practice Director, was named a finalist nominee for Community Association Manager of the Year for 2016 by the Washington State Chapter of Community Associations Institute (CAI). The final award selection will be made on November 4, 2016, at the Annual Meeting & Awards Gala being held at the Columbia Tower Club in Seattle.
According to Community Associations Institute, to be nominated as Community Association Manager of the Year, the candidate must exhibit exemplary knowledge, ethics, professionalism, and skills with experience in financial, administrative, and facilities management.

Melissa joined Trestle Community Management in March-2016 to build a Practice area focused on developer and declarant community formation and trustee services, through the transition to member-owners, for large-scale, homeowner and master associations. She has made an immediate impact with excellent progress across all areas.
Melissa has a deep developer and community management experience base over the last 11-years in the Community Management industry. Prior to joining Trestle, she served as Executive Community Relations Director at Benjamin Ryan Communities where she was the internal declarant advocate for community Boards, providing assistance and transition for their newly developed communities. Prior to that Melissa served as Division Director of Association Management at Phillips Real Estate Services where she managed their community management division. Melissa is a City Councilmember for the city of Des Moines, WA, has CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) and an AMS (Association Management Specialist) certifications, and hands-on experience managing large scale communities and construction projects.
