As the restrictions in place to combat COVID-19 continue to evolve, Trestle is closely monitoring the situation and advising its Clients and Community Association Managers accordingly. Under Governor Inslee’s March 23rd Stay Home, Stay Healthy order, associations may proceed with immediate maintenance and repair needs as well as ongoing janitorial and disinfection services.
Generally speaking, the Order allows for any maintenance needs which would cause additional damage if left unattended to or those of an emergency nature to be addressed. Accordingly, less time sensitive projects such as scheduled replacement of an aging but intact roof, asphalt sealcoating and restriping, and window washing are subject to delay and rescheduling at this time. Trestle's Community Association Managers are working to follow up with vendors who may have scheduled work prior to the pandemic in order to determine how they are proceeding. Additionally, the Community Association Managers are aware of the work restrictions and have been advised to only schedule work within the community which meets the requirements of the Stay Home, Stay Healthy order.
As this is a developing situation, it is too early to know when all projects will reasonably be able to resume. However, Trestle is diligently working to ensure planned projects may proceed when the time and situation allows. In the meantime, Trestle will continue to monitor the orders and restrictions.
