Trestle Community Management announced today that it was nominated for three annual awards from the Washington State Chapter of Community Associations Institute (CAI).

The three nominated annual awards are:

  • Business Partner of the Year -- Trestle Community Management
  • Manager of the Year -- Melissa Musser, CMCA, AMS, Trestle Suburban Growth Practice Director
  • Manager of the Year -- Stephanie Slone-Brencic, CMCA, AMS, Trestle Senior Community Manager

Award nominations were collected by CAI from their local membership, and then selected by the Board of Directors for final award. The CAI Washington State Chapter represents over 1,700 members from companies and managers servicing community associations, and community association Board Members.

This is the second consecutive year Melissa Musser has been nominated for Community Manager of the Year. According to CAI, to be nominated as Community Association Manager of the Year, the candidate must exhibit exemplary knowledge, ethics, professionalism and skills with experience in financial, administrative, and facilities management.

Melissa joined Trestle Community Management in March-2016 to build a Practice area focused on developer and declarant community formation and trustee services, through transition to member owners, for large scale, homeowner and master associations.  She has made excellent progress across all areas with established developer relationships such as Quadrant Homes, DR Horton Homes, Pacific Ridge Homes and Polygon Homes.

Stephanie Slone-Brencic was the first Community Manager on Trestle’s staff in July-2014, and has been key in helping grow the firm from 12 to now nearly 80 communities. Stephanie is responsible for Trestle’s Condominium Management team.
