Trestle today announced that four of its Community Managers have elevated their professional credentials awarded by Community Associations Institute (CAI).

Association homeowners, board members and community developers seek qualified professionals to manage their communities. They have fiduciary responsibilities that compel them to make decisions that can have profound financial and social impacts on their communities. To help ensure they have the expert guidance necessary to manage communities most effectively, Trestle Community Management continually invests in improving the skills and abilities of our Community Managers, and to earn credentials awarded by CAI.

Professional managers provide administrative, operational and managerial counsel to the boards that govern homeowners and condominium associations. Managers typically are responsible for managing budgets and contractors, directing association personnel and overseeing compliance with association covenants and restrictions.

Trestle managers who have elevated their professional credentials are:

Marlene Lounsberry, Advisory Community Manager, CMCA®, AMS®

Marlene earned her Association Management Specialist (AMS®) becoming one of only 6,000 managers worldwide who have earned this prestigious designation. The AMS designation recognizes ongoing professional development and industry expertise for community managers.   AMS designees must pass the Certified Manager of Community Associations exam, administered by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM). They must have at least two years of verified association management experience and successfully completed more than 16 hours of specialized instruction. They must also comply with CAI’s Professional Manager Code of Ethics. To maintain the AMS designation, they must meet continuing education requirements.

Bob Brencic, President, CMCA®

Stephanie Brencic, Senior Community Manager, CMCA®

Blair Rondeau, Senior Community Manager, CMCA®

Bob, Stephanie and Blair earned the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) which is the only international certification designed exclusively for managers of homeowner and condominium associations and cooperatives. The CMCA recognizes individuals who have demonstrated the fundamental knowledge required to manage community associations by completing and passing the multiday prerequisite course, and successfully pass the CMCA examination, an extensive 150+ question exam.

The CMCA certification is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). NCCA accredits professional certification programs across the country that comply with its strict standards.

In addition to earning a CMCA certification, Bob Brencic holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Santa Clara University, and Stephanie Brencic holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Central Washington University.

CAI and its 60 chapters work on behalf of the professionals and volunteers engaged in the management and governance of homeowner and condominium associations, cooperatives and other planned communities. CAI’s nearly 32,000 members include community association volunteer leaders, managers, management companies and businesses that provide products and services to these communities.
